Here are fabric choices for any drink-ware or appliques. If you don't see a particular piece of fabric that you are interested in email me and I may try locating it. Also most of the fabrics are while supplies last. If I sell out of a print I may not be able to buy it again. Some companies quit selling prints after a certain period of time. Sports Bottles

These are sports bottles that can be personalized with your child's name. They are great for the team sport he/she is playing or just for fun. Another great gift idea for a birthday party or Christmas gift when you just don't know what to get or you need a little something extra. Each bottle holds 15 oz. of liquid and the bottom unscrews to reveal a snack compartment. 3 colors: Black, Red, and Blue. You choose the cup color and the fabric.

Drawstring Backpacks

These were popular gifts for nieces and nephews last year for Christmas. I starting thinking since I posted the bag for mom that these also were a good idea for the kids too. I forget about what all I have stacked away in my cargo trailer until I order something new that gets me thinking or maybe just getting close to going to market time and I trying to get organized that I realize what I have tucked away. There are 2 sizes Large (teens) and Small (non-teens?)...really your choice. I don't have each size in every color. I am trying to clean out stock right now. If you are wanting to wait and order for Christmas I will probably be making another order with this company after October when I finish my markets so just wait until then. You are welcome to email me and let me know that you are interested and I will let you know when I am ordering.

How do I Buy an Item?

This is an issue for many of you and I completely understand. I have a website www.simplestitch.net that has a shopping cart through paypal. My husband Aaron worked SO hard on the website and we have to pay for it that I hate to shut it down right now. It is so hard for me to add new items and examples. Well I created the blog for examples but is has taken over the website which is great for me but it is harder and confusing for my customers.

If you see something and would like to purchase it just email me and tell me what it is that you want to order. You can still pay through Paypal if you prefer payment that way (send it to simplese@simplestitch.net) after I give you a total or you can send a check to me through the mail. If it is the check method I do ask that you send the check right away so I can get started on the order. Aaron and I have discussed the possibility of the website and blog joining together...meaning you will still type in simplestitch.net and get the blog but there would be a cart. Thank you for responding so well on the blog and being patient...I have enjoyed it so much better that the website.

Here is another style of "boat tote" that I have just received a shipment of. I didn't order a lot of so if you need one speak up early. It is a little like the tote below but I a bit different simply because it is a different company and brand. These are great for throwing "stuff" in to go to the games whether soccer, football, or whatever is in season. I have trim colors of Black, Navy, Red, and Royal. There is a front pocket but the stock photo doesn't show it clearly.

Here are some Halloween Treat Bags that I am offering for the coming up Halloween season. They are made of fleece type material that fold flat...thank goodness. They are not a plastic bucket that you can find nothing to do with after Halloween. It can easily be folded flat and stored away until next year. Each character has glow in the dark features for your young one to find fascinating. There are 4 choices of characters: Pumpkin, Bat, Frankenstein, and Skeleton. Each Bag will come personalized with a name on the back of the bag.

Birthday Shirt

This is a birthday shirt that I made for my little man turning 1 this month. I have done various numbers for older birthdays also for nieces, nephews, and cousins. Another cute idea for the first birthday if you have a special outfit you don't want them getting dirty is doing this same applique on a bib to wear over his/her clothing. I have done the bibs to match the outfit or to coordinate with the birthday theme. Appliques typically will cost around $10 with you providing the shirt. Most moms like to find a shirt that will fit just right or have "girly" sleeves on them so I have stopped keeping shirts in stock. I do have sources that I can order from but the shirts are the traditional unisex "box" fit...ok for boys.

Baby accesories and bags

Tote bag for my cousin to carry her books as she finishes up her degree. I can order this bag or other types of totes in various styles and colors.

Examples-3

Here are some more things that I completed for Jamie. These pieces are pillows for a girl's room. Above the middle letter is 7 inches and the side letters are around 6.5 inches (lots of stitches). Below the name is around 5 inches tall and 11 inches wide.

I have met a lady from Canton that custom sews BEAUTIFULLY and she has asked me to embroidery the things that she is making that her customers have requested to be embroidered. I have embroidered several baby items for a custom bedding for a baby girl and here is a picture of GIANT piece of material for a headboard. The letter is 10.5 inches tall in the middle. It turned out great! I will post more as I do them.


This is a preschool backpack for a little girl down the street from us. It is a simple backpack form Walmart this year and it had a great spot for a monogram. I sae several bags at Walmart for the back to school sale that needed a good monogram on them.

Go Tigers!!

If you are a Tiger fan you might like these. With it being football season several customers are asking for LSU baby items. Here are 2 burp cloths (1 girl and 1 boy) and a diaper cover to go underneath a LSU outfit. The colors may not show up well but they are definitely purple and gold. Not a LSU fan? You can choose a different mascot and/or colors.

Proud Sibling

I have a friend that is having a baby in Aug. and the older sister needed a sibling t-shirt to wear when he/she arrives. The "Big" is appliqued with soft minky polka dot fabric and the "sister" is stitched in brown. It turned out really cute.

These are great for gift ideas. I have a customer giving one to a friend that is starting this school year teaching. I would carry any of them. These hats are adorable. Moms are buying them for the summer for their children to wear out when they are playing. Some moms are getting them for their children who may go to daycare or camp with other children to not get their hat misplaced.
